Materials and Build

  • Close-up of a wooden surface with a rich brown color and visible grain pattern.

    Real Walnut Veneer

Crafted with genuine walnut veneers on top of high-quality plywood, our walnut record consoles feature real walnut — not cheaper wood stained to mimic its look. Because each piece uses authentic walnut, natural variations in tone and grain pattern make every cabinet uniquely one of a kind.

  • Handcrafted in the USA

Each piece is proudly built by our team of furniture makers in our Portland, Oregon workshop. Crafted with longevity in mind, our furniture is made to outlive your collection.

  • Protective Clear Coat

Each piece is finished with a durable hardwax oil clear coat that protects the wood while enhancing the warm, natural beauty of the walnut. The finish leans more matte than glossy, giving it a soft, natural look.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my receiver/amp/cd player fit?

Most standard audio equipment fits on our tops and upper cubbies, BUT we always recommend measuring your gear to ensure the perfect fit. Since one size doesn’t work for every setup, we’re happy to customize our designs to be wider, taller, or deeper for an additional fee. Reach out to discuss a custom request!

Does it come assembled?

Yes, our pieces arrive fully assembled except for the feet. The feet are pre-drilled and come with screws. They attach easily with a Phillips head screwdriver in just a few minutes. This small concession helps ensure your furniture ships safely and arrives in perfect condition.

Records are heavy, can this hold the weight?

Yes — this is what we do, and it’s all we do. Each piece is built from high-quality materials using durable pocket-hole joinery and glue for long-lasting strength and stability.

Will the wood look identical to the picture?

Crafted with genuine walnut veneers on top of high-quality plywood, our walnut record consoles feature real walnut — not cheaper wood stained to mimic its look. Because each piece uses authentic walnut, natural variations in tone and grain pattern make every cabinet uniquely one of a kind.
