We dropped our latest line of new designs this Spring. Now spinning your favorite Sidetracked Workshop models in white oak.

What was the goal of this new launch?
Our signature walnut and brass line of record cabinets is what really put us on the map as a furniture company. Customers love the functionality of those designs, our real wood veneers, the modularity, and the quality. So the goal with this new edition was NOT to reinvent the wheel. But the reality is that aesthetics are subjective, and walnut and brass mid-century modern inspired cabinets aren't going to fit everyones taste or home.
With those criteria as the starting point. The natural choice for us was to create a set of designs in white oak. White oak is another beautiful premium hardwood, the grain is gorgeous, and notably its on the opposite end of the color spectrum then walnut, and so can serve a distinct design palette.
But don't worry! Under this shiny new look is the same set of functional designs you know from Sidetracked Workshop. The same dimensions, LP storage capacity, and modular designs that grow with your collection.

Great materials come first.
Of course here at Sidetracked Workshop we are using real white oak veneered high quality cabinet grade plywood. In addition we opted for a white oak dowel bar in the flip thru cubbies, and wooden feet. We mixed up the styling a bit with these rounded rectangular and triangular cutouts, and matched that design motif in the feet.
