4000 Misprinted Lookbooks. Whoops!

I have 4,000 misprinted catalogs sitting behind me right now.

And it wasn’t my fault.

Another 1,800 have already been mailed directly to customers… straight from the printer... whoops! This is our second annual print look book—our catalog, and we spent the last 6 months making it. The whole point of this book is that it reflects who we are.
It’s analog. It’s carefully crafted. It’s meant to be flipped through slowly.

It’s printed on high-quality paper (which, by the way, is not cheap), and it’s supposed to reflect the same level of quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that we put into our furniture.

Which is why this is…  ironic.

The printing company used an early draft instead of the final approved proof. So a rougher draft was printed instead of the final version we green lit with all the little errors and kinks worked out.

So now there are a few formatting issues, a handful of typos, a floating word in the middle of a picture…

And one pretty big mistake:

The White Oak Encore is listed at $459 instead of $549.

Luckily thats not a bestseller!

Now, what are we doing with the catalogs?

It would be a huge waste to throw all of these away and reprint them. (and many of you already have one haha!)

So we worked it out with the printer, took a partial refund, and decided to use these slightly imperfect lookbooks anyway
