Lead time and Assembly: Each record console from Sidetracked Workshop is made to order in Portland, OR. Lead times average 2-3 weeks for completion of the piece, and then 3-7 days to ship to your door.
All of our record consoles come pre-assembled! The only thing you need to do is screw on the predrilled feet. This helps safely and compactly ship these products to your door!
Walnut: Our walnut record consoles use REAL walnut veneered high quality ply, this is actually true walnut, it isn’t a cheaper wood just stained walnut color, so it gives you that authentic look and style. With that said, it does still have a protective clear coat finish on it for durability and sheen. Because this is real walnut, there will be slight tone changes and grain pattern changes from the console shown in the photos. Each piece is slightly unique!

Looks great and good quality. Hand crafted
The console arrived on schedule, and I was very happy to find that it looks even better than the pictures. The build quality is sturdy, and the hardware seems solid and even. I would highly recommend adding this piece of furniture alongisde your record collection.
I could not be more please with both the design and construction and it’s beautiful. I put casters on it so I can roll it right next to my turntable and then move it out of the way when I’m done. The top compartment is great for displaying the record currently playing. I will definitely buy from Sidetracked again.
I'm so glad I found out about Sidetracked as the products offered align with my lifelong hobby of vinyl collecting (60 years). I needed a smaller unit for browsing/flippig through the records that I have 'in rotation' and The Sidekick fit the bill. I chose the walnut finish and it's perfect as it goes with what I've have going on in my listening area. It came very well packed and on time - no injuries on the way and assembly was easy - legs needed to be screwed into predrilled holes and that's it!! I had it setup in 10-15 minutes. The unit is set for browsing and storing vinyl but I'm using the lower section for displaying some of my music texts. I highly recommend this product - a great combination of form AND function.
